Summit Financial Resources is a nationally recognized provider of working capital financing to small and medium-sized businesses in a broad range of industries.

Meet CEO

 

Gordon G. La Haye – President & CEO

Mr. La Haye has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial finance industry serving in senior management positions with Heller First Capital, Concord Growth Corporation and the CIT Group. He joined the company in 1999 as its President & CEO and has led the company to its present position as a nationwide provider of working capital financing to small businesses.

 

Management Team

 

Michael Gardner - Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Gardner has over 24 years of experience in the commercial finance industry, joining Summit in 2004. He has held various senior lending, portfolio and credit management positions with GE Capital Commercial Services, Inc., CIT Business Credit, Inc., and Heller Financial, Inc. Mr. Gardner is a graduate of Adrian College in Michigan.

 

 

Catherine Goodman – National Marketing Manager

Ms. Goodman has over 18 years of experience in financial marketing, communications, and branding. This experience includes six years as a Project Director for Carbone Smolan Agency in New York City, during which time she managed multi-million dollar strategic marketing projects for clients such as Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, PaineWebber and Prudential. Prior to this role she worked in New York as a VP of Marketing for Bankers Trust and as AVP of Marketing for the Zurich Group. Ms. Goodman graduated with a degree in English cum laude from Utah State University.

 

Doug Keefe - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Keefe has over 20 years of experience in finance. Prior to Summit, he served as Managing Director and CFO of Global Distribution for Putnam Investments in Boston. Mr. Keefe has also worked for Boston-based Fidelity Investments, as SVP of Finance and Risk Management for their e-Business Group, SVP of Finance for Fidelity Capital & Ventures, and SVP/CFO of Fidelity Trust Company, the company's retail banking unit. Mr. Keefe started his career with Coopers and Lybrand, where he achieved the level of Senior Manager and became a Certified Public Accountant. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont.

 

Andy Osborn
Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager


Mr. Osborn has over 15 years of experience in the Commercial Finance Industry, most recently as National Sales Manager for Stearns Financial Services. He served as the Intermountain Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Officer in the Intermountain Region for eight years. Mr. Osborn began working in commercial finance with Altres Financial, serving in Business Development and Sales Management positions. Mr. Osborn began his career as Director of Sales for a Utah based marketing company that provided merchant services products and contact management software to entrepreneurs and small business owners nationwide. He received his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Utah State University.
