SUMMIT FINANCIAL RESOURCES HIRES TIM CARSTENS, TERRY ADKINS, AND TIM THARP
Summit Financial Resources is pleased to announce the hire of three new Business Development Officers: Tim Carstens in Phoenix, Terry Adkins in Baltimore, and Tim Tharp in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. Carstens joins Summit Financial Resources from M&I Business Credit, where he served as Vice President and was responsible for opening the Phoenix office. Prior to M&I, he worked at Wells Fargo Business Credit, where he served as Vice President/Business Development Officer and, more recently, as Senior Relationship Manager/Team Leader. He has also served as Vice President and Business Development Officer for Norwest Business Credit in the Midwest, and started his career in banking at Norwest Bank. Mr. Carstens earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and is a member of the RMA, TMA and ACG.
Mr. Adkins joins Summit Financial Resources from Rexford Funding, where he served as Senior Vice President/National Sales Manager. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President, Business Development for Summit Financial Resources in the Mid-Atlantic market. Mr. Adkins has also served as Vice President, Business Development for Presidential Financial, and was Founding Director and President of BankAnnapolis in Maryland. Mr. Adkins earned his Degree in Marketing at the University of Baltimore and is a member of the Maryland Bankers Association and TMA.
Mr. Tharp joins Summit Financial Resources from Gulf Coast Business Credit, where he served as Vice President, Business Development. He has also served as Vice President, Business Development for Action Capital Corporation, and prior to that, as a VP/Business Development for Goldleaf Technologies (formerly PBI). Mr. Tharp also has sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics industries. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Louisville and is a member of the TMA and CFA.
