Position: Underwriter 

Summit Financial Resources  is recognized as a leader in the accounts receivable financing industry located in Salt Lake City, UT. Since 1987, we have been actively engaged in providing financing solutions for businesses and providing working capital for our clients through accounts receivable financing. 

We are currently searching for an Underwriter to join our dynamic team.

This position provides coordination and effects communication of the underwriting and closing process in order to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Coordinate and analyze audits, appraisals and background reports 
* Meet and interview the prospective client’s management team 
* Analyze and understand prospective client’s historical and projected financial statements, cash flows, borrowing base availability of enterprise value
* Identify critical transactional/structural risks
* Completion of the comprehensive credit write-up. 
* Facilitate the loan closing process for credit committee approval to closing 
* Coordinate internally and externally; including with third-parties such as appraisers, field examiners, outside counsel and industry consultants
* Coordinate the initial funding of transactions including the closing/reconciliation of goodfaith deposits and the preparation of funding memo’s.


Skills
* Proven ability to analyze collateral, financial performance and projections.
* Strong skills regarding transaction structuring. 
* High level of familiarity with documentation specific to ABL or Factoring facilities.
* Ability to build internal and external relationships. Work in a fast moving team environment.
* Must be able to manage several projects in varying stages at the same time. 
* Strong oral and written communication skills

Qualifications
* No less than seven years experience in financial services with Three to Five years of underwriting experience. We will also consider auditors or lenders with exposure to new business transactions. 
* Undergraduate degree in business or similar field.
